Look to the Sky
Borrego Springs has the unique distinction of being
designated an
International Dark Sky Community
(by the International Dark Sky
Association), the first in California. Because of our unique
location in the desert and through the efforts of
many people to control artificial light Borrego
Springs is the perfect location to view millions of
stars in the sky.

This intriguing southwestern style home was the
getaway home for actor Burgess Meredith. The .63

golf course surrounded by mountains, mature
landscaping and fruit trees.
The
house was
remodeled by architect Jacqueline Larsen and a large
adjoining 1664 SF guesthouse/art studio with
13ft ceilings was constructed in 1990. The
studio has
a bedroom and private balcony on a mezzanine floor;
masonry kiva fireplace, high ceilings, operable
skylights. a kitchen, full bathroom w/
jacuzzi tub and two covered patios. The main
house is
perfect for entertaining guests. Master bedroom wing
and guest bedroom wing are separated by roomy and
comfortable great room which opens out onto a
saltillo-tiled covered patio and a salt water pool.
Central vacuum, zoned central a/c and outdoor
shower. Very quiet location. Use one and rent out
the other one. Pool has brand new stucco
