Guest Book: February 06, 2010 Diane It was with profound shock and sadness when we learned of Adam's passing. He was an absolute favorite person of ours. His sense of humor was always a delight and we'll miss the songs that he always played when we got together. We were fortunate to live close in the Roadrunner and I'm glad we were able to keep in contact after you moved. Take care of yourself Diane and we think about you often. ~ Dean & Linda McBride, Borrego Springs, California February 03, 2010 I always enjoyed crossing paths with Adam whether it was at professional meetings, at Scripps or in the building where he (and my uncle) lived. He was a professional, helpful and caring gentleman. ~ Janie Anderson, San Diego, California February 02, 2010 There is such a sadness in the air in reading this today. Adam was such a gentleman, a kind human being, with an interest in everyone. He was such a good listener and had compassion for the world around him. It was always nice to run into him at various luncheons or fundraising events. He will sure be missed. Karen Bidgood, San Diego, CA ~ Karen Bidgood, San Diego, California February 02, 2010 Diane, Adam will truly be missed by all who had the pleasure to meet him. You are in our prayers and know that Adam will live on in all the wonderful memories you have together. ~ Andrea Fetterman, Pasadena, California February 01, 2010 Dear Diane, You know how we feel about Adam. Will miss him.We send our love Ellen and Lynn ~ Ellen and Lynn Willey, Borrego Springs, California February 01, 2010 Dear Diane, it is still a shock to both me and Missi that Adam is no longer with us. His Spirit and Memory will live in all of us who were fortunate to know him. Take good care of yourself! Love, Juan and Missi. ~ Juan Sparhawk, Borrego Springs January 31, 2010 I had the pleasure of working with Adam many years ago when he was at Scripps. He was someone everyone admired and liked. A true professional, he always had time for you and freely shared his gentle sense of humor and wisdom. Thinking of you, Diane. ~ Bev Hayes Berthoty, California January 31, 2010 One of the finest moments was when, as vice president-development at Scripps Clinic & Research Foundation in La Jolla, Adam came to me for a position in our fundraising program. He assumed the role of corporate fundraising and did a masterful job. I was very proud of Adam and so pleased in his continued efforts for philanthropy in the San Diego area. God Bless you Adam. ~ Robert H. Smith, Del Mar, California |
