Clean Up Borrego Jan 19, 2008   Does litter around town bug you?   Do you like muffins and scones and pastry??   Then join Chamber staff and directors on Saturday, Jan. 19 to get together for an hour of litter pick-up on Borrego Springs Road between Country Club Road and Utica Road.   The event will mark our first official clean-up of this stretch, which the Chamber plans to care for quarterly through the County Adopt-a-Road Program. We are hoping Chamber members will help! Please meet us at 9 a.m. at the Chamber Office, 786 Palm Canyon Dr, where we will fuel up on coffee and goodies from the Fudge Factory.   We'll caravan out to the clean-up stretch by 9:30 a.m. and pick up litter for an hour. Bring your own gloves and water; the Chamber will provide the trash bags--and "picker-upper" tools to the first four to arrive. We hope you'll see this is as an opportunity to network while doing something positive for the community. Together, we're better!
