Borrego Days 44th Annual Desert Festival
is History but
Starry Starry Nights go on and on
in Borrego Springs

The Borrego Days Desert Festival for 2009 was held Oct 22-25. A great time was had by all. Thank you to everyone who helped make this the success that it was.  Click here for a list of events during that weekend.

The theme was Starry Starry Nights.  This year's festivities celebrated the town's glorious night skies, and its recent designation as California's first International Dark Sky Community.

Dennis Mammana (Borrego Springs resident & noted astronomer) was the Grand Marshal for Saturday's eagerly anticipated parade. He was also the guest of honor at the Thursday night Galactic Gala at the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park Visitor Center.  Many fun activities took place during the Festival weekend.

Be sure to join us for the continuing "stellar" events listed below and at Dark Skies & Starry Events.
