Festival of the Arts Show and Sale

Rules

  1. Show is open to all members of the Art Guild for no fee.

  1. Non members may exhibit and offer art for sale for a fee of $20.00.

  1. Categories will be :

    1. Fine arts – oil, watercolor, acrylics, mixed media

    2. Sculpture, pottery, wood and glass works

    3. Photographic Art

    4. Crafts, jewelry, china painting, etc.

  1. All paintings must be matted and ready to hang.

  1. All works must be in place by 9:30AM March 10, 2007. Works must remain in place until 4:00PM. All work must be picked up between 4:00 and 5:00PM March 10 2007. Nothing may be left on premises.

  1. Artists will be responsible for their own work. The Art Guild nor The Center will be responsible for any items, nor will items be insured by the Guild.

  1. Sale of  artworks will be strictly between the artist and purchaser, with the Art Guild playing no role in the transaction.

  1. Each artist will be responsible for their own display. Tables will be available upon request. The Borrego Springs Art Guild Committee members will be on hand to greet and assist artists.

  1. This is not a juried show. A Best of Show award will be awarded.  Decision will be made by a Peoples Choice vote.

  1. Please submit your application by February 26, 2008 to insure a space.
